Columbus alt-duo Jady is back, louder and bolder than ever. Their brand-new single “White Casket” is officially out now—and if this track is any indication, their just-announced third studio album is about to hit like a punch to the soul.

Built on unorthodox structure and overflowing with emotional gravity, “White Casket” isn’t the kind of song you passively listen to. It’s the kind that grabs you by the collar and shouts in your face—because sometimes, that’s what the truth sounds like.

The track opens soft and cinematic, almost like a lullaby laced with tension. But don’t get too comfortable. Moments later, Jady detonates the quiet with an explosive, shouted spoken-word section that sounds more like a personal exorcism than a verse. Lead vocalist Jarrett Doherty doesn’t just rap—he unleashes.

Throw dirt on my name…” he screams, not as a plea, but as a statement of power. It’s raw, it’s chaotic, it’s intentional. There’s no traditional hook here—just momentum, and a message: stand in your truth, even if the world tries to bury you in it.

Jady has never really fit in a box—and “White Casket” makes sure of that. There are flashes of rock, spoken word, post-punk energy, and ambient indie textures, all stitched together with emotional urgency. It's dramatic, high-stakes music—and yet it still somehow feels accessible.

It’s a declaration of identity from a band that’s constantly redefining theirs.

With two independent albums and over 150 shows under their belt—including tours with Call Me Karizma, IDKHow, and Saint Motel—Jady is more than ready for the next chapter. Their third studio album has officially been announced, and if “White Casket” is the first taste, it’s going to be an all-out emotional spectacle.

This is a band that’s made history already, selling out Columbus’s legendary Newport Music Hall as a local act (a first in a decade). Now they’re setting their sights even higher.

This October, Jady will headline Kemba Live in Columbus—their biggest headliner yet, in front of a 2,200-capacity crowd. Known for their high-energy, visually immersive shows, the duo’s live experience is less concert and more cinematic chaos. If you’ve seen them before, you already know. If you haven’t, now’s the time.

“White Casket” is not a typical release. It’s artfully chaotic, emotionally heavy, and unapologetically strange—in the best way possible. It's a song about shedding what doesn’t serve you and embracing who you really are, dirt and all.

Jady isn’t just building songs—they're building something much bigger. A sound, a vision, a movement.

And this? This is just the beginning.
