New Constellations Shine Brighter Than Ever with “Believe Again” - the First Glimpse of Their Transformative Debut Album

Portland-based duo New Constellations, made up of vocalist Harlee Case and multi-instrumentalist/producer Josh Smith, return with “Believe Again,” a deeply emotional new single that introduces the next chapter of their highly anticipated debut album, It Comes In Waves. The track arrived October 17th, marking the band’s first release in a powerful new cycle of music dropping every six weeks through May.

Childhood best friends, Harlee and Josh began creating music together when they were 14. After spending 15 years pursuing separate creative worlds, Josh touring across the Northwest and Harlee building a large community centered on empowerment and plant-medicine advocacy, the pair reunited in 2023 to form New Constellations. Their chemistry was instant. Their debut single “Hot Blooded” skyrocketed to 100 million+ streams, earned a viral 14M-view debut on Reddit’s front page, and positioned them as one of the most exciting rising acts in alternative pop.

Since then, the duo has performed at Pickathon, Same Same But Different, Backwoods, and Summerfest; secured syncs in Good Trouble, ESPRIT’s global campaign, the film Scrambled, and Apple TV’s Surface; and completed a sold-out tour with Cannons in 2023. Their own 2024 West Coast tour (700 cap) and 2025 East Coast tour (500 cap) also sold out entirely, a rare feat for a group still building toward their debut album.
