There’s something magnetic about an artist who can make a room feel both intimate and electric at the same time. Levi Foster has been doing just that across Virginia and beyond, charming crowds with a mix of country grit, rock soul, and a voice that feels as lived-in as the stories he tells. Now, with his full-length debut We Made Fire, Levi is stepping fully into his role as a storyteller who knows exactly how to pull you in.

The 10-track collection was produced at Nashville’s Cartoon Moon Recording by none other than Ken Coomer—yes, the same Ken Coomer who was an original founding member of Wilco, spent years with Uncle Tupelo, and carries three Grammy nominations to his name. Together, Foster and Coomer bottled lightning: a throwback country album that’s timeless yet refreshing, the kind of record that feels like it belongs on the jukebox of your favorite hometown bar.

From the first track, She’s In Richmond, to the closer, Tear Stained Letter, the album is only 36 minutes long—but every minute feels intentional. There’s a sense of movement, a flow that makes you want to keep listening, not just to hear what comes next, but to sit deeper in the emotions he’s unraveling. Some songs play like a perfect bar sing-along, while others stop you in your tracks, inviting you to lean back, reflect, and remember the good days.

What stands out most is Levi’s voice—emotional yet confident, playful yet soulful. He doesn’t just sing his songs; he carries them, shapes them, and delivers them in a way that makes every lyric hit harder. One moment you’re nostalgic, the next you’re grinning, and sometimes both at once.

And if you’re wondering where that presence comes from, the answer is simple: Levi Foster was born to perform. With a soulful, down-to-earth, and playful personality bridging the divide between entertainer and audience, Foster is a natural showman who’s been making a living performing country and rock cover tunes at venues and festivals throughout his home state of Virginia and beyond. After hightailing it to Nashville in his mid-20s to pursue music full time, he quickly found himself opening for legends like Ashley McBryde, Trace Adkins, John Conlee, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, Vince Gill, and The Time Jumpers.

In the past two years, Foster has signed a publishing and production deal with co-partners Banner Music and Middleground Music, released his first singles and EPs to streaming platforms, and hit the road as an opening act for Oliver Anthony in both 2024 and 2025. Along the way, he’s also made several breakthrough appearances on the nationally syndicated Big D and Bubba morning FM radio show—solidifying his reputation as one of country’s most promising rising voices.

Now, with We Made Fire ready to release in Spring 2025, Foster is more than ready to deliver his boldest statement yet. It’s an album that proves he can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the greats he’s opened for, while carving out his own place in today’s country landscape.

There’s something for everyone in this record. Whether you’re two-stepping in a crowded honky-tonk, driving down an empty road, or sitting at home with a glass of whiskey, Levi’s songs meet you where you are. It’s not just country music—it’s country music with heart, fire, and a rare ability to feel personal and universal at once.

Levi Foster didn’t just make an album. With We Made Fire, he made a moment—and it’s one worth pressing play on again and again.
