On July 24, genre-bending Canadian artist Trevor Kidd will drop his highly anticipated new single, “Sunshine”, featuring Garry Beers of rock icons INXS and Jeff Martin from multi-platinum Canadian rock outfit The Tea Party.

A singer, songwriter, producer, and musician with an impressive list of high-profile collaborations, Kidd has carved a place in Canada’s rock landscape through both his dynamic sound and fearless creative choices. His career highlights include recording with members of Billy Talent and Sum 41, sharing stages with Canadian legends Randy Bachman and Tal Bachman, opening for April Wine, and appearances on CBC’s Dragons' Den. His music has caught the attention of names like Hollywood actor Eric Roberts and Runaways frontwoman Cherie Currie, and his songs have received spins on commercial radio nationwide, including CBC.

“Sunshine” follows the success of Kidd’s 2022 single “Salvation”, a hard rock anthem co-created with Josh Jones that went on to win 13 international film festival awards and earned an official listing on IMDB for its award-winning music video. This latest track blends soaring melodies, gritty guitars, and a punch of rock ‘n’ roll attitude, marking a bold new chapter for Kidd.

With the combined creative forces of Beers’ legendary bass work and Martin’s unmistakable vocals and guitar style, “Sunshine” delivers an anthemic, arena-ready sound that feels both timeless and urgent, a testament to Kidd’s staying power and evolving artistry.
